The aim was on the one hand to create high-quality workplaces for the approx. 450 employees and on the other to provide appropriate lighting for the prestige areas of the building. In principle, the effect of the lamps withdraws in favour of the light-space effect, so as to show off the numerous material differentiations to full advantage. A totally new kind of office lighting system was conceived for the office areas that deals with demands relating not only to lighting technology and design, but also economicalness. The overlapping of all these demands resulted in a suspended round lamp equipped with two reflector systems that can be switched separately. The ring-shaped fluorescent lamp 60 W / 21 and low-voltage halogen lamp 100 W / 12 V are independent lighting units. The design principle behind the lamp aims for as light a form as possible so as not to noticeably obstruct the flood of daylight into the room.
